Getting on Race

Friday the 25^th saw the getting on race come around and with two of our four boats (Novice 1^st Men’s [LADS] and Novice 1^st Women’s) needing to get on, it was an important day for Lucy/Hughes. After a sterling row from both crews (and admittedly some not so sterling row’s from some of the other crews on the river..) we were keen for both boats to get on. Unfortunately Friday night appeared to be CUCBC lash up night and so results didn’t appear until the majority of the club were absolutely gazebo’d at the Maypole. Luckily the iPhone saved the day and the results were read out: Lucy/Hughes had got four crews on to lent bumps for the first time ever. Intoxication Stations.
